Mylohyoid nerve

The mylohyoid nerve (or nerve to mylohyoid) is a nerve that innervates the mylohyoid muscle and the anterior belly of the digastric muscle.The mylohyoid nerve branches from the inferior alveolar nerve (a branch of the mandibular nerve, the third part of the trigeminal nerve) just before it enters the mandibular foramen.Mandible of human embryo 24 mm. long.
