Raja microocellata

The smalleyed ray or smalleyed skate (Raja microocellata) is a species of fish in the family Rajidae. It is found in the eastern Atlantic off the coasts of the United Kingdom and Ireland and southward through France, Spain, and Portugal to Morocco and the Western Sahara. Its natural habitats are open seas and shallow seas, generally no deeper than 100 m (330 ft). It grows to 86 cm (34 in) total length. A species of minor commercial, it is taken as bycatch in trawl and set net fisheries. Overfishing and habitat disturbance are potential threats to it.
