Streptomyces arenae

Streptomyces arenae is a bacterium species from the genus of Streptomyces which has been isolated from soil from Illinois in the United States. Streptomyces arenae produces pentalenolactone, 2,5-dihydrophenylalanine, naphthocyclinone and arenaemycine.
