Homoscleromorpha

Homoscleromorpha is a class of marine sponges composed of two families: Plakinidae and Oscarellidae. The Homoscleromorpha is phylogenetically well separated from the Demospongiae. Therefore, they have recently been recognized as the fourth class of sponges.
