Disposal of Environmental Pollution by Porous Ceramic Filtration Media

The categories and characteristics,the raw materials and methods of preparation and the parameters of characteristic pores of porous ceramic are reviewed.Its application and theoretical basis of porous ceramic in disposal of environmental pollution are discussed.The light-weight porous ceramic filtration media and the surface modified porous filtration media under study are briefly introduced.The surface modified filter combined with coalescence filtration and photocatalysis technology was used to treat the waster water from oil field and the organic polluted waste water respectively.The results show that the coalescence filtration could effectively remove up to 90% oil and up to 96% SS respectively.The quality of outlet water could meet with the national A1 standard of cycling injection water.So,the applicable fields of porous ceramic filter media are extended.
