Real-time implementation of light stripe center extraction

Accurate high speed extracting light stripes center is very important for an optical system.Based on massively parallel algorithm and pipelining,a parallel-and-serial architecture of Steger Algorithm is proposed.The experiment shows that is a more efficient method than before,using less logic resources but enhancing the processing speed greatly.High speed implementation of the method can be realized by using FPGA,and accuracy of results can reach the magnitude of sub-pixel.
