We thank Dr. Guillet and Dr. Schmid-Grendelmeier for their interest in our article1 , "A case of anaphylactic shock induced by mealworm antigen in the bite of a Japanese flying squirrel,2 " which was published in the J Eur Acad Dermatol Venereol in April this year. The following is our response to their observation concerning tropomyosin.
