APPROACH TO THE NEW CARBON-POTENTIAL MEASUREMENT AND CONTROL SYSTEM

This paper summarizes and analyses all kinds of method for the carbon-potential measurement and control in recent years. The carbon-potential control with several parameter and the carbon-potential immediate measurement and control with the resistance method possess better control result.but the former is expensive. So selecting the resistance method to gauge and control the carbon-potential will increase its ratio between the performance and the price for the mediumsized and small-sized periodic heat treatment furnaces, such as pit gas carburizing furnace. This paper develops and analyses in detail the microcomputer control system and the coil-motion meter control system for the carbon-potential measurement and control with the resistance method.
