La Justicia Terapéutica aplicada a la Ley de Menores de Puerto Rico de 1986 y a su Reglamento (Therapeutic Jurisprudence Applied to the Puerto Rican Minors' Act 1986 and Its Rules and Regulations)

Spanish Abstract: Este articulo tiene como objetivo aplicar preceptos de la Justicia Terapeutica a la Ley de Menores de Puerto Rico (1986) y a las Reglas de Procedimientos Contra Menores (1987), segun enmendadas. Se llevo a cabo un breve analisis sobre algunas de las disposiciones de ambas piezas legislativas para determinar si las mismas son terapeuticas o anti-terapeuticas.English Abstract: This short essay is an effort to apply concepts of Therapeutic Jurisprudence to assess the law relating to juvenile delinquency in Puerto Rico, looking both at the legal provisions and their actual and potential application and administration.This paper is also part of an international project to inject the Therapeutic Jurisprudence perspective in ordinary criminal and juvenile courts, beyond the use of TJ in the more limited settings of problem-solving courts.
