The efficient synthesis of 3-hydroxyoxetane-3-carboxamides by the reaction of carbamoylsilanes with oxetan-3-one

The reaction of carbamoylsilanes with oxetan-3-one under anhydrous conditions in toluene at 60 °C affords 3-silyloxyor 3-hydroxyoxetane-3-carboxamides in good yields.
