History of Agrophysics: practical opportunities of artificial influence on soil thermal regime

2016
Heat and mass transfer in soil is one of the research areas studied in agrophysics.  During the period from 1930 to 1990, much of the theoretical research on soil thermal regime was carried out. During this time several mathematical models were developed to estimate the impacts of technical treatments on the soil thermal regime.  In this manuscript a historical review of publications devoted to the practical opportunities of artificial influences on the soil thermal regime is discussed.
