The present application relates to a measuring device for a joint in a structure, the measurement apparatus comprises: a sensor, wherein the sensor is arranged along a deformation of the joint to measure at least one direction; and a sensor housing in which the sensor is included, wherein the measurement device is adapted to be introduced into the structure.
