Structured Surfaces for Frequency Control and Antenna Gain Enhancement

We present two designs of frequency selective surfaces. In one, the structure provides a stopband centered at 206 GHz with 40% bandwidth, and is invariant to incidence angle. In the other, an integrated antenna on the surface shows gain enhancement of $> 5\%$ at 180 GHz.
