Natural Expression of the Best-Match Search Godard Clock-Tone Algorithm for Blind Chromatic Dispersion Estimation in Digital Coherent Receivers

We reveal the natural expression of the "best-match search" Godard clock-tone algorithm for blind chromatic dispersion estimation. The complexity is reduced by more than 2 orders of magnitude compare to the conventional method.
