Comparative Study of Carbon and Graphite Cloth With Marlex and Dacron Mesh in the Repair of Abdominal Wound Defects

In this study, carbon and graphite cloth were compared with marlex and dacron mesh In the repair of artifically created ventral hernia in rats. Both carbon and graphite cloth were found to be of comparable mechanical strength with marlex and dacron mesh.
