E-recruitment en España: Evolución y uso de las TIC para atraer candidatos

2018
This article focuses on the analysis of the use of e-recruitment in companies operating in Spain with the dual objective of, on the one hand, ascertaining degree of use and, on the other hand, ascertaining its evolution over the past few years. To achieve these objectives, a quantitative analysis was carried out with data being sourced from the Spanish Statistical Office. Evolution in the use of e-recruitment is found to be positive though not exceeding 10 percentage points. In addition, the frequency of use of both social media to attract personnel and websites to post job offers or enable job applications to be received amounts to less than 20%. However, these results vary depending on the sector and the number of workers in the company. Relatively speaking, the Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and services sectors use ICTs for recruitment purposes more frequently than the industry and construction sectors. And finally, the greater the number of workers in the company, the greater the relative frequency in the practice of e-recruitment.
