Comparative study between several controller approaches: application to gas turbine system

2019
Generally, more recently the mathematical modeling techniques of industrial gas turbine engines are presented taking in consideration the different stages, from the design to demonstration the development of the commercial control system and finally use in service. This makes it possible to appreciate the relationships between the models and their derivation for specific needs in control engineering. The objective from this work is to introduce a optimization approach for adjusting the parameters of the PID, FL and PSO controllers to control the exhaust temperature and the speed of the studied gas turbine power plant, in order the closed-loop system adapting the variation in ambient temperature by reducing the the static error, rise time, response time and maximum overshoot.
