Some Considerations on Calorific Power of Soft Heating Device.

1992
Soft heating method for hyperthermia is an induction heating method utilizing iron loss of temperature-sensitive magnetic materials and maximal temperature is controlled by the Curie temperature. Heating seed is temperature-sensitive amorphous metal flakes which are composed of Fe-P-C-Cr. In this paper, some considerations on calorific power of temperature-sensitive amorphous metal flakes are described, in order to put the heating devices into tissue in clinical applications.
