Influence of CFBC fly ash on hydration of cement pastes

The influence of CFBC fly ash with different additions on the hydration of cement pastes were investigated by studying the mechanical performance,non-evaporable water content,Ca(OH)2 content,hydration products and the porosity distribu-tion of the CFBC fly ash contained hard cement paste.The results showed that an increase of the CFBC fly ash contents caused the decrease of the compressive strength,the content of non-evaporable water and the content of Ca(OH)2 and increase of the porosity;the main hydration product form of cement paste added with CFBC fly ash is like fiber and that of plain cement paste is like network.
