Tunable dual-wavelength ultrafast optical parametric oscillator

2016
The present invention relates to the technical field of laser, and provides a tunable dual-wavelength ultrafast optical parametric oscillator. The oscillator comprises: a pulsed laser pump source (101), an input coupling lens (102), a periodically poled crystal (103) having a sector-shaped structure, a dispersion compensation device (107), an output coupling lens (104), a splitter (105), and a crystal temperature control device (106) arranged in sequence. Compared with the prior art, the oscillator of the present invention eliminates the group velocity mismatch between signal light and idler light of the periodically poled crystal (103) by employing a dispersion relationship between a group velocity of the pulsed laser and the crystal temperature to regulate and control the operation temperature of the periodically poled crystal (103). Furthermore, the present invention synchronously amplifies the signal light and idler light, thus improving a match bandwidth of the optical parametric oscillator while preventing pulse distortion caused by temporal walk-off, and enabling the optical parametric oscillator to simultaneously output two high-quality ultrashort pulsed laser signals.
