Synthesis Structure and Bioactivity of Compound [Ni(pbb)_2(H_2O)_4](NO_3)_2

A coordination polymer,named as [Ni(pbb)2(H2O)4](NO3)2,has been obtained with Ni(II) and pyridine-3,5-bis(benzeimidazole-2-yl)(pbb) at room temperature and characterized by X-ray single crystal diffraction analysis.The complex present 3D supramolecular structure that is connected through hydrogen bonds and aromatic π-π interactions.Compared with pbb,better inhibitory activity was observed for the polymer.
