The voices of Hitler and Goebbels were to become two of the most effective tools of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party (NSDAP — hereafter the Nazi Party). It was through Hitler’s vision of a National Socialist Germany and his ability to inspire and manipulate audiences that he was able to seize control of the party and to form it into a vehicle for his political ambitions and programme.
