Mathematical Modeling of Motion Parameters of a Vehicle with a Buffer Energy Storage

2021
The processing of data on the movement of a vehicle with a buffer energy source should take into account the joint operation of two engines, one of which is primary, and the second is auxiliary. The study of the influence of the buffer energy source and the auxiliary engine on the parameters of the vehicle movement is the main goal of the study. The methodology is based on the initial data on the movement cycle. For example, the low-speed section of the WLTС cycle is used. The mass, rolling coefficient, cross-sectional area and other characteristics of the vehicle are also set. The power calculation allows you to determine the initial data on the change in the power of the vehicle's power plant. Operating with values: average positive, average negative and average power of peak loads allows dividing energy flows into main and parallel - with a buffer source. Integration of the power of the power plant at each moment of time allows you to go to the balance of energy flows. The energy balance equation is presented. The conditions for charging and discharging a buffer energy source, which characterize the model of its operation, are presented. Losses in power transmission chains of mechanical transmission, buffer source charge circuit, energy recovery circuit are set by correction factors. The developed mathematical model makes it possible to calculate the motion parameters of a vehicle with a buffer energy source in the mode of continuous processing of the received information. The proposed model makes it possible to assess the influence of the capacity of the buffer energy source on the output parameters of the vehicle movement.
