Improved silicon-carbon-thin-film structure and process

There is disclosed an improved silicon-carbon thin film structure. The thin film structure includes multiple layers of silicon-carbon and silicon. The multiple layers forming voltage thin film structures that have an increased carbon content and exchange serve for inducing stresses which improve the carrier mobility for certain types of field effect transistors.
