Concurrent Learning-based Fault Estimation for a Class of Over-actuated Systems with Loss of Effectiveness Actuator Faults

Dealing with the fault estimation problem of a class of over-actuated systems in the presence of loss of effectiveness actuator faults, we propose a concurrent learning-based fault estimation method. In this method, the persistence of excitation condition required by the existing literature is relaxed via concurrent learning technique. Furthermore, bounded external disturbance is eliminated by constructing the estimation error information with a series of filtered system variables. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method.
