A Probe into A New Mode of Service for the Aged in City Community——Home-based Care for the Aged in Community

Achieving the purpose of"being old but supported"was put forward at the Eighteenth National Congress of the CPC,which is the inevitable requirement of the rapid development of ageing in China.With community service a platform,home-based care a foundation,government guidance a premise and non-governmental organizations' coordination a link,constructing a"multiple integration"home-based care mode for the aged in the city community is the key to the current aging problem.There are three critical factors to ensure the effective operation of the mode: the high unity between diversification and integration,perfect service support system and evaluation mechanism.
