The invention relates to N-sulfonylated amino acid derivatives, where on the sulfonyl group N-terminal is an aryl group bound to the amino acid and C-terminal is a residue bound via the carbonyl group, the at least one imino group and at least one further basic group containing an optionally modified amino - represents amidino or guanidino containing. Likewise, the invention provides methods for preparing these compounds and their use concerns, especially as inhibitors of matriptase.
