Millimeter-wave induced sloping step in Tl2Ba2CaCu2O8 misaligned thin film

Abstract The millimeter-wave responses of the intrinsic Josephson junctions (IJJs) in misaligned Tl 2 Ba 2 CaCu 2 O 8 thin film have been experimentally studied. In the low voltage part on the current–voltage ( I–V ) characteristics, sloping steps are induced under different frequencies. By presenting the dV/dI–I curves, it shows that corresponding to the sloping steps on the I–V characteristics, resistive bumps appear. The dV/dI–I and dV/dI–V plots from 72 GHz to 80 GHz and at different power show the variation of the step voltage.
