POTENTIAL VALUE OF LEAD-ZINC MINERAL ORE RESOURCESIN THE EAST OF NORTH HUAIYANG TECTONIC ZONE

This paper has summarized the temporal spatial evolution regularity of lead zinc mineral resources in the east of North Huaiyang tectonic zone, which shows that the ore deposits substantially formed in the Yenshanian and mostly distributed in the convergent part between the NE trending elevation depression border and NW trending fractures, and the mineralization varied somewhat both laterally and longitudinally. Based on the regional metallogenic conditions and integrated prospecting information on geology, geophysics,geochemistry etc., the authors outlined four concentrated mineralization areas in the east of North Huaiyang and gave an initial judement of ore control conditions of lead zinc deposits of cryptoexplosion breccia pipe type,porphyry type and strata bound skarns type that were found in the recent years. At last optimized prospecting targets are pointed out in this paper.
