REVIEW OF TYRE AS AGGREGATE REPLACEMENT IN CONCRETE

2020
With the ever increment in the interest of river sand and abatement in its accessibility, there is a quick requirement for finding reasonable options which can supplant sand partially or at a high extent. Many research ventures explore the impact of a few waste items, for example, glass sheet powder, burned sewage sludge, foundry bed waste, squashed stone flour, building destruction squander in the fractional substitution of river sand. Usage of waste is one of the dynamic research territories that incorporate the viability of substitution in all the parts of construction materials. This paper manages the exploratory examination on the utilization of tyre as total substitution in concrete. In order to analyse the compressive strength at different exposure of heat, acid and salt, the samples were casted with 0%,5%,7%,10% substitutions of sand utilizing tyre dust and tried for various times of curing like 7 days. The ideal percentage of tyre dust is analysed thinking about the necessities of compressive strength of concrete.
