Radioactive materials and the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard

Many radioactive substances have chemical hazards that are regulated under the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard. Environmental health and safety professionals need to be aware which substances fall into this category. These substances need to be part of their organization’s hazard communication program.
