Application of Sintering Plant Supervision System in Jinan Iron and Steel Corporation

Sintering Plant Supervision System(SPSS) used in 2×90 m 2 sintering machines of sintering plant, Jinan Iron and Steel Corporation(JISC) has been introduced. SPSS was developed by JISG and Rautaruukki, Finland. The control range covers all the sintering process, including 6 Level I models and 5 Level II models. JISC has revamped the computer system, instrument and sintering process in order to let the system working well. After project put into operation in October,2003. It gets good effect especially in stabilizing the sintering process, improving the quality of sinter, decreasing the labor intensity of workers .
