2LH-8 : Development of Bioabosorbable Vascular scaffold for medical device

2018
Scaffolds may represent a very useful medical device to delivery, treatment, repair and regeneration. Scaffolds can be finely controlled size and shape to match the particular need of the patient by 3D printing technology for tissue engineering. In this study, we make simple a bioabsorbable vascular scaffold by 3D printing system. The scaffold was analyzed mechanical properties and in vivo test. These results suggest that it may provide a promising scaffold for vascular scaffold as a stent and artificial vessel etc. This study was supported by grants from the Korean Health Technology R&D Project (HI16C0994), Ministry of Health & Welfare, Republic of Korea.
