It is well known that the number of endoscopic procedures during the COVID-19 pandemic has decreased substantially. Severe acute cholangitis (SAC) requires biliary decompression with ERCP urgently. However, data regarding the effects of the COVID-19 on the endoscopic management and outcomes of SAC-related hospitalizations are non-existence.
