This is the second book to be exclusively dedicated to layered double hydroxides (LDHs), also known as ‘hydrotalcite-like’ or ‘hydrotalcite-type materials’, and sometimes as anionic clays, due to their particular distribution of positive and negative charges in the layers and interlayers. Published in Springer’s ‘Structure and Bonding Series’, the guest editors for this volume are members of the most active teams in this research area.
