Personality differences between writers and mathematicians on the EPQ

1990
Abstract According to the one to one matched pair design, the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire was administered to 50 writers, 50 mathematicians and 50 control subjects. Writers appeared to be extraverted, higher on neuroticism, psychoticism and lower on lie scores than control subjects. Mathematicians appeared to be lower on psychoticism and higher on lie scores than the control subjects, and lower on all the four dimensions than the writers. The intercorrelations among the four dimensions of the EPQ were nearly the same trends for writers and mathematicians.
