Design of Dual-mode Low Altitude Surveillance System Based on Wireless Sensor Network

2019
This paper presents a dual-mode low altitude surveillance service solution based on wireless sensor network for low altitude areas which are difficult to be covered by radar detection system. In this scheme, self-developed sensors are used to flexibly build distributed wireless sensor network, and 4G network is used to effectively build surveillance service system covering low-altitude airspace. The system can simultaneously provide ads-b message analysis and WAM target positioning methods. Target fusion processing can significantly improve the quality of target tracking and effectively improve the surveillance capability under complex terrain conditions. At the same time, there is redundancy between sensor base stations, which improves the reliability of the system.
