The effects of four kinds of insecticides on growth of green alga Scenedesmus obliquus.

The effects of four insecticides on growth of Green Alga Scenedesmus obliquus were studied with static water method.The results showed that the inhibition function of growth of the alga increased along with the increase in the concentration of insecticides when culturing medium of the alga were handled by xianyuanjing and Beta-cypermethrin respectively,meanwhile insectcides had large destruction to algal cells;the strongest insectcide that inhibited growth of the alga was xianyuanjing,the second was malathion,the third chongshuian,the fourth Beta-cypermethrin when culturing medium of the alga was handled jointly by xianyuanjing,Beta-cypermethrin,malathion and chongshuian.
