Uso da vitamina C como estratégia para o estudo do equilíbrio químico

This paper presents a discussion about how the decomposition of vitamin C, caused by some factors, can contribute to the construction of knowledge, by high school students, regarding chemical balance. To this end, scholarship holders from high school were also selected, but from a series more advanced than that of the students being monitored, to mediate teaching strategies. The fellows tried to help students reflect and make associations between common sense knowledge and chemistry concepts, since it can be more productive that the teaching-learning process has as a starting point the subjects' previous knowledge, built daily, through observation and miscellaneous information. In this way, it is possible to provide greater involvement and interest of students in relation to the themes worked on. Through a teaching methodology that proposed starting from concrete experiences to explore abstract concepts, it was found that scholars and students managed to build more knowledge regarding the chemical balance.
