On the Developing Direction of Track and Field Events in China from the Performance of the 10th National Games

By means of literature review,mathematical statistics and comparative analysis,the authors of this paper try to analyze and compare the relative data of track and field results of the 9th,10th National Games,the 10th World Championship of Athletics and Athens Olympic Games.The results show that the whole level of Chinese track field has been improved significantly,with greater improvement of men’s events,but there is still a big disparity between Chinese competitors and other world competitors for most of the track and field events.
