Distribution automation system modeling based on information sharing

2014
Distribution management system consists of distribution automation system, superior dispatching automation system, production management system, GIS, marketing management system, 95598 customer service system, etc. By means of information sharing and function integration between the related systems, the related functions such as outage management, user interaction and access control of distributed powers could be implemented. The implementation of model maintenance at source-side, information sharing, which could solve the problems of repeated modeling and information island, has a very important significance for the construction of the distribution network system. IEC 61970 and IEC 61968 provide with standards and technical directions for system interconnection and information sharing in the distribution network system. Because of various distribution devices and wirings, distribution modeling methods will have some difference in detail in each system. The distribution automation system could share the device parameters in dispatching automation system and G IS system, but in order to ensure the rapidity of network topology analysis and the correctness of feeder fault location, the topology model and graphics exported from the GIS system couldn't be used directly in distribution automation system. In addition, distribution network modified frequently which leads to frequent modeling of distribution network in China, so it is important to maintain the model consistency between distribution automation system and G IS system. This paper proposed an expansion method of C IM in distribution automation system, recommended the concept of the circuit and feeder group, introduced the steps of distribution model splicing by use of the power dispatching automation system and GIS system model, and introduced the model synchronization method in generating a distribution expansion model and maintain related systems. In this way, we en sure the mod el source-side maintenance and meet the requirement of DAS applications. The actual application in some DAS projects shows that the extension of standard C IM model and the model method based on information sharing are effective and practical.
