Novel polymorphisms in the upstream region of the human dopamine D4 receptor (DRD4) gene BRIEF REPORT — POLYMORPHISM REPORT

We found nine novel polymorphisms in the up- stream region of the human dopamine D4 receptor (DRD4) gene of Japanese by direct sequencing. These polymor- phisms are 2809G. A, 2768G. A, 2616C. G, 2603T . del, 2602G. del, 2600G. C, 2376C. T, 2291C. T, and 2128G. T. One known polymorphism, 2521C. T, was also recognized. Six of these sites were identified as restriction fragment length polymorphisms (RFLPs).
