Dynamic Bandwidth Scheduling for Multi Protocol Convergence Fiber Channel Network

2018
In order to meet the demand of integrated data transmission for electronic systems of aerocraft and ground vehicles, the FC-AE-1553 protocol and IP protocol can be supported on the fiber channel network. The FC-AE-1553 protocol supports periodic service and strong timing service and uses the fixed bandwidth and preemptive bandwidth allocation. IP protocol supports burst service and uses dynamic bandwidth allocation mechanism based on weight ratio. In this paper, a multi service FC network simulation platform is constructed, and the scheduling mechanism is analyzed by combining theoretical analysis with simulation. The results show that compared with the traditional command response scheduling mechanism, the proposed strategy can increase the average throughput of the network by more than 10 times, the network throughput can be increased from 2.8Gbps to 46Gbps, and the average delay of IP packets can be reduced by 1 order of magnitude.
