THE MEDIATING ROLE OF ORGANIZATIONAL REPUTATION IN RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT (SRHRM) AND ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR (OCB): EVIDENCE FROM HEALTH CARE SECTOR OF LAHORE

The aim of this study is to investigate the mediating role of organizational reputation in relationship between socially responsible human resource management (SRHRM) and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB): evidence from health care sector of Lahore. The policies and practices of SRHRM are playing a pivot role in organizations. The SRHRM is corporate social responsibility (CSR) focused on workers, supports the effective execution of the CSR in the organization. While its association with the social behavior of workers has been theorized and received some pragmatic support, its effect on the work behaviors of personnel has not been explored. This study aims to investigate the mediating role of organizational reputation in the association between SHHRM and OCB in the health care sector of Pakistan. Data which was used for this study was quantitative and collected from the sample size of 300 respondents. And collected data analyzed through SPSS 20 version. The result of the analysis is based on different tests which are following Reliability, correlation, mediating analysis, and regression which tells that organizational citizenship behavior is directly influenced by SRHRM and organization reputation in the health care sector of Pakistan. This study also finds a significant relationship regarding mediating role of organizational reputation in the association between SRHRM and OCB. The direct relation between each variable of the study is also significant at 5%. Findings show positive and high relation among independent and mediator and their combined influence on OCB.
