Effects of Pollination by Honeybees on Bitter Gourd under Protected Cultivation in Sanya

Study the effects of pollination by honeybees and artificial on bitter gourd under protected cultivation.The results showed that honeybees pollination decreased the fruit setting rate,increased the fruit VC content significantly;increased fruit length,transverse diameter and flesh thickness,and increased single fruit weight significantly,but the yield per plant had no significant difference between the two pollination treatment.So honeybees pollination could used for gourd under protected cultivation,if we improve the cultivation measure.
