Capacidad de carga turística y aprovechamiento sustentable de Áreas Naturales Protegidas

Natural Protected Areas (npa) of littoral have very sensitive and attractive landscape ecological systems, for which tourism is commonplace, as in the apffic (Area de Proteccion Flora y Fauna Isla de Cozumel in Spanish). The objective was to determine touristic carrying capacity with an integrated approach of sustainable development. The method applied theoretical process (touristic carrying capacity) and empirical process (limits of acceptable change), to achieve a balance between conservation and use. The result allows strategies of decisions and design management around natural resource management, looking for sustainable tourism developmencft as an integrated socio-ecological system approach. This will make the npa and its environment a better environment according to natural, social, economic, moral and aesthetic criteria.
