Transport in the Sawtooth Collapse

1997
The rapid temperature collapse in tokamak sawtooth oscillations having incomplete magnetic reconnection is generally thought to occur through ergodization of the magnetic field. An experiment in JET using injected nickel indicates that this explanation is improbable. {copyright} {ital 1997} {ital The American Physical Society}
