Energy nonuniformity in the surface of carbon fibres and other graphitic carbon materials

-- A method is proposed for the mathematical treatment of experimental data on the adsorption of hydroxoaquo complexes of iron (III) ion, which makes it possible to determine the energy and chemical uniformity of a surface. For a number of carbon fibres, distribution functions for the active centers of the surface with respect to change in free energy of sorption have been obtained.
