La via pulchritudinis, sacramento del encuentro con Dios

The essay is the reworking of the inaugural lesson of the Academic Course 2018/19 of the Center for Theological Studies of Seville, delivered on October 4, 2018. The purpose of this work is to specify the nature of the Church’s cultural heritage, created to worship and glorify to God, and also to evangelize. In the end, the theme is specified in Murillo’s religious painting, of which the fourth centenary is celebrated.
