Biointerfacing for Electron Transfer of Redox Enzymes

1995
Most bioelectronic and biophotonic devices are designed by mimicking the biological systems which undergo signal transduction and information processing [A. Aviram, 1989, 1991; F. T. Hong, 1989]. Although the ultimate goal is to realize a neurodevice based on the brain, some other novel functional devices have also been pursued by many researchers. Of these functional devices protein molecular devices have gained an increasing attention due to the characteristic molecular functions of proteins.
